Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

How can I buy your flowers?

As part time flower farmers, we have to streamline our efforts and primarily focus on sales to florists. We do offer a direct to consumer subscription January-March with our forced tulips, membership opens Nov 2024. Bulk flowers during Summer and Fall are available subject to supply, pickup only. Please reach out for availability.

I’m a local florist or merchant, how can I buy?

We love when florists support local flowers! Brynhill facilitates all industry/wholesale sales through the Rooted Farmers platform via the Pittsburgh Flower Exchange. You must have a buyers pass and a Rooted Farmers account to see our inventory and purchase from us.

What is the Pittsburgh Flower Exhange?

The best decision we made for our business! PFX is a group of local flower farms that facilitate a weekly market to sell directly to industry professionals. Our markets are Wednesday mornings, April through October, at Ruckus Coffeehouse on Babcock Blvd. For more information, please visit the PFX website.

What is the Rooted Farmers platform?

Rooted Farmers is an online marketplace that connects small farmers directly to their clients, professional and public alike. Rooted is free for buyers to make an account and connect with farms and collectives. Check out the Rooted Farmers website for more information.

When are your flowers available?

Our growing season begins in December with indoor forced tulips for our subscription community and Valentine’s Day and ends at first frost in October. We focus primarily on winter tulips (December-March), Spring bulbs and hellebores, late Summer-Fall dahlias, annuals, and perennials.

Can I visit your flower farm?

Brynhill is our flower farm as well as our residence. To respect our privacy and that of our neighbors, we are not open to the public.

I love your branding, who designed it?

We worked with The Homegrown Studio to design our logo and branding. Alessandra is wonderful to work with and we love our branding so much.
